The cbl is a MEMBERSHIP-based leauge

We encourage all players that have not been drafted to a CBL team to start at the Walk-On Player membership level and upgrade their membership "after" they get drafted to a team. However, after you become a Walk-On Player member, upgrading is not mandatory.

When you join as a Walk-On Player member your information will be submitted to the player draft database and CBL team owners, GMs, and head coaches will see you listed as an ACTIVE player.

Our player membership levels:

  • Walk-On Player
  • Free Agent Player
  • 3rd Round Draft Player
  • 2nd Round Draft Player
  • 1st Round Draft Player (Financing Available)
  • Lifetime 1st Round Draft Player (Financing Available)

HOW OUR PLAYER CASH PRIZE WORKS

Our quarterly league game cash prize is ALWAYS based on the number of teams for the quarter season in each city’s league. We require a city league to have a minimum of 16 teams for cash prizes to payout at 100%. Also, see player membership chart below.

Example of Regular Season Game Cash Prize:

  • 1st Round Draft Pick Player = $100 per game win
  • 2nd Round Draft Pick Player = $50 per game win
  • 3rd Round Draft Pick Player = $25 per game win
  • Free Agent Player = $0 per game, but eligible for tournament cash prizes
  • Walk-On Player = $0 per game and $0 tournament cash prizes (recommended for High School and College players)

6 Game Regular Season and Tourney Cash Prize Chart (quarter season and annual combined). The grand total of the quarterly season "tournament" cash prize for each city is always announced on the proceeding Monday after the player draft has closed.
